Tips for staying safe in extreme heat

Yesterday we appeared on Cronkite News / AZPBS in Eddie Keller’s Extreme Heat is on the way news piece to talk about staying safe during extreme temperatures. This weekend Phoenix is expecting temperatures to hit 120°F and with these soaring temperatures is the risk of heat related illnesses.

It is so important to be aware of the symptoms of heat related illnesses such as headaches, muscle cramps and weakness. Also make sure to drink more water and wear light colored clothing.
